Wherein I answer questions
Oh.Em.Gee y’all! I have been working on CSS (have you seen color changes? Please lie…so I don’t feel so dumb. Or tell the truth because you actually have!) for the past hour+ with a cat in my lap. Cats are loving and sweet and they purr, but they do not code.
My original intent was to answer the questions y’all asked me in a written post. Then I thought, pshhaww (no seriously I thought that exact word) that was boring! That or I had the Flip! video camera out to record the accent vlog and figured why not do a second post. You’ll just never know. Any who – here are the answers to your burning questions about me.
Its kind of long. I look to my left a lot (seriously, why am I doing that??). Also I talk with my hands. I never knew how bad until this. I may not vlog for awhile while I come to terms with my hands.
So now that I’ve answered these questions, I’m tossing the Evil Mindee‘s question back at y’all. What 5 books would you keep forever and always?
Fun Fotos!
My in-laws gifted me with the gift of my choice this year. So post-Christmas I hopped on Amazon and I was able to treat myself to a 50mm 1.8/f lens for my camera. Otherwise known as a nifty fifty lens.
I also bought myself a brand new camera strap from Broward Path. I’m taking a picture as soon as my new camera bag arrives to so y’all can get the full effect. I was introduced to Broward Patch thanks to Katie at Confessions of a Young Married Couple. I must say loved my choices and the prices were also super reasonable. Oh and shipping (i.e. time you eagerly examine the mail delivery each day) beat out my Amazon purchase!
In the meantime here are some photos of taken since my new lens has arrived. Nothing spectacular but its rained here EVERY DAY so I’m limited to where I can take these so far. I’m planning on lots more, but um turns out the camera really likes when you remember your memory card. Go figure!

Our Big News
Hello Internet Friends! I am so sorry for effectively dropping off the face of the planet. You see, I did / do have some big news to tell you but other than that our days have consisted of well nothing.
No, not even laundry. (Big surprise there.)
So I really had nothing to blog about. Well except for that one thing. That big news I had to share. See Alex and I went to go to the gun range last Monday, but on the way there I got a gut feeling in my tummy. So we chatted and by the end of the evening we knew we’d be expanding our family.
Meet Gimli.
(Wait you thought we were pregnant? Ooops! LOL nope that is not the case AT ALL since insurance doesn’t like paying for fertility treatments.)
Gimli is the SWEETEST dog. We are actually the lucky ones to have found him.
You see before he met his last Mommy and Daddy he was malnourished, abused, and permanently injured. Then his previous Mommy and Daddy rescued him when he was six months old. Unfortunately due the economy they have to move and Gimli and his siblings needed new forever homes. No one wanted to adopt Gimli because of that permanent injury, but Alex and I are saps. Plus he gets along in our family already. Cats and all have accepted this new arrangement and are actually currently snoozing in various positions around my body as I type.
Besides how can you turn away this face?
So that is our big news. Hope you weren’t disappointed.
We sure aren’t.
